Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground, Lauderhill, Florida

The stadium is located at the corner of US 441 and State Road 838. It was the first U.S. cricket pitch to receive certification by the International Cricket Council (ICC) to host international matches.

It is a large circular grass field, roughly 167 yards (153 meters) diameter. Surrounding it is a 5,000-seat stadium and large berms capable of holding 15,000 more. It also features stadium lighting and a luxury viewing area. It was the first venue in the United States officially certified by the International Cricket Council (ICC) for One Day International (ODI) play.

Pitch & Condition

Lauderhill’s pitch was an even wicket. The wicket averaged 141 and the first innings average was just 157. Pace bowlers are expected to excel at this venue. Taking into account the results of the last few games played at the field, it is expected that the captain who wins the throw will throw at that wicket first.

Team Analysis

West Indies

West Indies continued to struggle with his shots, just couldn’t beat the Indian bowlers. The batsmen have started, but no one has really made a difference. The likes of Mayers, Pooran, Hetmyer, and Powell would have wanted more, but with the gum in front of them dead, we’re not sure the motive was there. West Indies also found it difficult to control India’s batting during bowling. Obed MoCoy has been a standout pitcher in the West Indies, and he has a lot to offer in the fourth T20 as well. The only hope for the West Indies at the moment seems to be that India can continue to risk their team and open up some weak spots.

India have been great in this series and they deserved their win. The positive attitude from all the batsmen shows how active India’s batting order is too. Style, India Squard is so powerful that when asked about the likes of Ishan Kishan, Deepak Hooda or even Sanju Samson, they can all deliver game-winning knocks. Indian bowling is also incredible. They have shown a better understanding of the conditions and have been able to change their pace to force West Indies errors. We love adding Arshdeep to the team and he could be crucial in the next game as well. India have pledged that their approach will not be arbitrary no matter who is in the match or what the previous result is, and clarity is their greatest asset at the moment.
